TLDR
Built a voice AI interview bot for a startup in ~2 weeks. The bot practices interviews with users and gives feedback — replacing expensive human coaches with an AI alternative.
The Problem
Interview prep is expensive. If you want to get good at interviews, you either practice with others (who might not give clear feedback/you have to interview them in return and you lose time) or pay for professional coaching (which costs a lot).
The client wanted to solve this with AI — build a bot that could:
- Simulate realistic interview conversations
- Ask follow-up questions like a real interviewer
- Give useful feedback on your answers
The goal: make quality interview practice accessible to everyone.
The Solution
Voice-based AI interview bot.
The bot would:
- Ask interview questions (behavioral, technical, whatever the user needs)
- Listen and respond naturally
- Give actionable feedback after each session
What I Built
Rapid prototype in ~2 weeks.
The focus was speed. Get something working fast so we could test it with real users and iterate.
Key pieces:
- Voice interface for natural conversation flow
- Interview question generation based on role/industry
- Feedback system analyzing responses
